The city is famous for the fact that Taras Shevchenko once traveled through the city and wrote the famous poem “The Open Grave”. There is also an old brewery. in ancient times, the Czech landowner Kansky brewed his own special beer. now we plan to plant a large park with attractions to attract tourists. the city has a large lake for recreation and a single-seater plane before the war made excursion flights to show the city from the sky.

What spurred interest for city pairing?

We are motivated by the desire to reorganize, to change something in the system, in the state, in a particular region, and in the minds of citizens, to grow mentally and socially, to move away from post-Soviet values and to overcome corruption and other phenomena in the country that prevent us from being whole. our goal is to teach our future generation new things because they will be the ones to rebuild our country in a new way.
